Demon Chick

Background

For my following assignment I decided on “Dog it Out” which is worth 3 stars. To start off I went and looked through all of the pictures of my animals on my phone that I thought I could do something funny with. It was when I came across a picture of myself holding one my grandparents chickens that I knew what to do. My grandparents bought a dozen baby chicks in April and this a picture of one of them when they were still fluffy. Since then they have become bad little animals that fiend for lettuce and like to jump on each other and out of their boxes. That’s why I thought it would be perfect to take a cute picture of a baby chick and add devil horns and a tail to it to show the little monsters they would become. The picture also has a red tint from the heat lamp so it gave more of an evil vibe to what I was trying to accomplish. Here is the original picture:

Process

Beginning my assignment I searched “devil horns transparent” on Google and found both horns and a tail to add to my image. After downloading these images I opened up Microsoft PowerPoint and inserted all 3 images by clicking “insert” -> “photo” -> “picture from file”.

Now that I have all my pictures added I can move the pictures around how I like. I also am going to flip the tail so that it is positioned on the chicken better. To do this I select “format picture” then click the arrow going in a circle on the left and press “flip horizontal”. I also adjusted the images sizes by moving the dots on the edges of the squares.

My Creation

Here is my completed demon chick. I think it turned out pretty good and all of the colors blend together nicely as if it is in its natural environment.
